FDA and sexual dysfunction

The FDA is there to keep us safe and we depend on them for their knowledge and for their approval on medication. Most of the time the FDA is spot on with their approvals and they do a fantastic job. When it comes to treating sexual dysfunction in women they appear to have let themselves down.... totally. The amount of approved drugs for women is zero. It's not that they are ignoring sexual dysfunction as a whole, they have approved more than 20 drugs for men.... for women though they just don't seem to understand why it's needed. Why won't the FDA approve testosterone therapy for women?
